Available positions

We require a Salesforce Lead developer with 7+ year of Salesforce development experience and with at least 2 years of Dev/Ops experience. The candidate should be well organized, self-motivated and able to work from home productively.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of Agile SDLCs, systems engineering and business process re-engineering. This individual will be responsible for complete life cycles of key deliverables for the company’s Salesforce.com and COPADO initiatives. This candidate should naturally be able to provide operational efficiencies for the client’s customers through creative problem solving using the Salesforce.com and COPADO platforms.

The successful Candidate will be responsible for :

Key Deliverables for Dev/Ops Lead

  • Design and configure Dev/Ops tools, including JIRA, Copado, Bitbucket, Git and VS Code (SF extensions, SF DX, SF CLI, Copado CLI, ANT, Apex PMD)
  • Assist with deployment activities and troubleshooting
  • Provide guidance and training to developers, team leads and release manager (in regard to Salesforce and Copado)
  • Ensure the team uses appropriate engineering practices (eg. CI/CD, automated testing)
  • Invest in continual improvements to tooling & technical debt to speed up development and increase quality with minimal risks
  • Work closely with Technical Architect to in regards of technical solutions

Key Deliverables for Salesforce Development Lead

  • Analyze requirements & impacts and produce estimations
  • Provide high level solutions and technical requirements for Salesforce.com
  • Perform code reviews and provide support and guidance to developers to ensure all code/changes are consistent with architectural standards, design and best practices
  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain a technical solution to support client’s business requirements and follows best practices (including Custom
  • Objects, Apex Classes, Triggers, Flows, VisualForce pages, Aura & LWC components)
  • Stay closely involved with code to make informed decisions, identify technical risks, and maintain trust with developers
  • Maintain high standards of coding and ability to quickly adapt to changes with minimal liabilities

The qualified candidate must have:

  • 7+ years of development experience in Salesforce; 2+ years of development operations experience
  • Solid understanding and strong coding skills in Visualforce, apex and SOAP/REST based web services
  • Solid understanding and experience in Salesforce.com security model, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules, triggers, knowledge management, communities, Chatter and salesforce1
  • Strong knowledge of the architecture and capabilities of Salesforce and COPADO
  • Solid Understanding of databases, data migration, manipulation, and data upload tools such as Salesforce data loader
  • Experience with Salesforce.com development in a multi-tiered release environment, including hands-on configuration and release management experience, are strong requirements
  • Able to perform configuration & release management using Salesforce.com and COPADO.
  • Ability to work independently as part of an Agile team
  • Have Salesforce and Copado certifications
  • Be bilingual (English and French) is an important asset

The successful Candidate will be responsible for :

  • Developing using Apex and VisualForce;
  • Customizing fields, layouts, objects, security, reports, and dashboards;
  • Performing Salesforce.com configuration, including definition and implementation of Org-wide defaults, Roles, User Profiles, Record Ownership rules, Sharing Rules, etc.;
  • Creating and maintaining profiles, roles, and security;
  • Identifying, assessing, and recommending SFDC solutions
  • Integrating complimentary applications and helping to design and manage ongoing development of Salesforce.com to meet the organization’s mission;
  • Integrating Salesforce across various platforms and devices;
  • Performing data loads.

The qualified candidate must have:

  • 3+ years Force.com development experience, with a strong focus on Apex and Visualforce development;
  • Enterprise business application development and systems integration experience working on end-to-end Salesforce projects;
  • Strong coding skills on Visualforce, apex, webservices, Javascripting;
  • Deep understanding of SFDC programming environments (Apex, VisualForce, etc.);
  • Knowledge of the architecture of Salesforce.com objects and entities like Page Layouts, Standard and Custom Objects, Apex and VisualForce code, etc.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com development and configuration in a multi-tiered release environment, including hands-on experience of all deployment activities;
  • Experience of SFDC knowledge management, communities, Chatter and salesforce1;
  • Understanding of databases and data integration tools;
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills;

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

In the role of System Administrator, you will provide:

  • User maintenance – Full understanding and documentation of roles and permissions to ensure correct assignment for new and existing users
  • Security and Profile Management
  • Minor Configuration Changes
  • Data Imports and Extracts
  • Develop, maintain and perform processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
  • General system maintenance as required

The role of Production Support, includes:

  • Manage P1 issues reported by users – testing and determination of defect handling; working with Release Manager, manage the release of bug fixes and communication
  • Manage the enhancement request Backlog including: analysis of business requirement, grooming and prioritization of requests, participate in sprint planning for production support releases and end-user documentation to communicate changes
  • Participate as the technical representative in Monthly SME Review Board, able to share status updates and discuss solution design approach for enhancement requests within backlog
  • Work with Solution Architects and Developers to translate business requirements into user stories and design specifications
  • Provide inputs to test planning and execution – assist in quality assurance and defining testing strategy and risks
  • Working with Release Manager, manage the release of enhancement requests and communication/release notes

Additionally, recurring maintenance activities will include:

  • Data loads – following proper process
  • General system maintenance

The qualified candidate must have:

  • 2+ years of proven Salesforce.com integration and administrative skills
  • Salesforce.com Certified Administrator
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com Integration components for SFDC (for example, SFDC APIs, Apex controllers, Apex Web Services, Apex callout, outbound messaging, and SFDC data loaders)
  • Proficient with technology, including office applications, sales force automation, database systems, executing data imports, running exports, merging records, and running reports
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management or related discipline or equivalent and 3 to 5 years of direct experience
  • Knowledge of all phases of software development including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing (integration, user, and performance), debugging, implementation, and support is ideal
  • Experience with Agile delivery methods is desired
  • Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously is required
  • Ability to work independently with users to define concepts, under direction of project managers is required
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
