Senior Salesforce Developer
Maximum Software Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer with over 7 years of development experience, including at least 2 years of DevOps experience. The ideal candidate is organized, self-driven, and excels in a remote work environment. You should be proficient in modern Salesforce technologies and familiar with DevOps practices, working within Agile frameworks to deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- DevOps Tools Support: Provide ongoing support for DevOps tools such as JIRA, Copado, Git, and VS Code. Ensure the efficient operation of CI/CD pipelines, automation processes, and version control systems.
- Deployment Support: Assist in deployment activities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
- Training and Mentorship: Support other developers by providing subject matter expertise in Salesforce development and DevOps best practices. Foster a collaborative environment and promote continuous learning within the team.
- Continuous Improvement: Enhance tooling and processes to reduce technical debt, accelerate development cycles, and improve overall quality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Technical Architect to design scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions.
- Technical Development: Lead the design, development, and enhancement of Salesforce solutions, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and other modern tools.
- Salesforce Configuration: Perform Salesforce configuration, including security settings, profiles, roles, custom objects, and complex workflows.
- Application Integration: Integrate Salesforce with external systems, ensuring smooth data flow across platforms.
- Data Management: Manage data loads and ensure data integrity within Salesforce.
- Code Involvement: Stay engaged with the codebase to make informed decisions, mitigate technical risks, and support developers.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 7+ years of development experience, with at least 2 years in DevOps.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security models, including profiles, roles, and object-level security.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Copado, Git, and other DevOps tools.
- Familiar with Salesforce DX, SOAP/REST web services, and integration patterns.
- Experience in knowledge management, Salesforce communities, and mobile solutions is a plus.
- Certifications: Salesforce certifications are required; Copado certification is a strong plus.
- Agile Methodology: Experience working within Agile teams, using Scrum frameworks.
- Language Skills: English. Bilingual (English and French) is a significant asset.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
In the role of System Administrator, you will provide:
- User maintenance – Full understanding and documentation of roles and permissions to ensure correct assignment for new and existing users
- Security and Profile Management
- Minor Configuration Changes
- Data Imports and Extracts
- Develop, maintain and perform processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
- General system maintenance as required
The role of Production Support, includes:
- Manage P1 issues reported by users – testing and determination of defect handling; working with Release Manager, manage the release of bug fixes and communication
- Manage the enhancement request Backlog including: analysis of business requirement, grooming and prioritization of requests, participate in sprint planning for production support releases and end-user documentation to communicate changes
- Participate as the technical representative in Monthly SME Review Board, able to share status updates and discuss solution design approach for enhancement requests within backlog
- Work with Solution Architects and Developers to translate business requirements into user stories and design specifications
- Provide inputs to test planning and execution – assist in quality assurance and defining testing strategy and risks
- Working with Release Manager, manage the release of enhancement requests and communication/release notes
Additionally, recurring maintenance activities will include:
- Data loads – following proper process
- General system maintenance
The qualified candidate must have:
- 2+ years of proven Salesforce.com integration and administrative skills
- Salesforce.com Certified Administrator
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com Integration components for SFDC (for example, SFDC APIs, Apex controllers, Apex Web Services, Apex callout, outbound messaging, and SFDC data loaders)
- Proficient with technology, including office applications, sales force automation, database systems, executing data imports, running exports, merging records, and running reports
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management or related discipline or equivalent and 3 to 5 years of direct experience
- Knowledge of all phases of software development including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing (integration, user, and performance), debugging, implementation, and support is ideal
- Experience with Agile delivery methods is desired
- Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously is required
- Ability to work independently with users to define concepts, under direction of project managers is required
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Testing all aspects of a Salesforce organization (in Lightning), including data, functionality and business processes;
- Developing test automation scripts using Provar;
- Performing Salesforce system administration to setup environment for testing;
- Utilizing software QA principles and practices including test planning, test strategy, and test matrix design;
- Integrating complimentary applications and helping to design and support ongoing development of Salesforce.com to meet the organization’s mission;
- Identifying, assessing, and recommending SFDC solutions
The qualified candidate must have:
- 3+ years Salesforce testing experience;
- Experience working on end-to-end Salesforce projects;
- Knowledge of test automation procedures and tools;
- Knowledge of the architecture of Salesforce.com objects and entities like Page Layouts, Standard and Custom Objects;
- Experience of SFDC Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Knowledge management, Communities and Chatter;
